Volunteer at Creative Burlington
Creative Burlington was started by a handful of like-minded individuals from the community. Since 2004, volunteers have played an important role in the vitality and growth of the organization. We pride ourselves on having a diverse group of volunteers who truly represent Burlington and the surrounding communities we serve.

Join a Committee
We have several opportunities for volunteers on our committees. Join one of our committees to help us move forward with our membership campaign, fundraising events or promoting local arts groups. Read below for more information on our committees:
Membership Committee:
Working closely with staff and volunteers, the Membership Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining a coordinated strategy that generates an ongoing stream of revenue by attracting sustainable support from individuals and organizations throughout the community. The committee develops, delivers and maintains an effective membership recruitment campaign, a direct donor campaign and donor recognition strategy, and a corporate partnership campaign. The committee also develops volunteer, membership and partner appreciation programs and strategies.
Promoting Arts Development Committee (PADC):
PADC reaches out to current and potential arts supporters and patrons to foster and develop relationships and partnerships in support of the development of a vibrant, growing arts community in Burlington. The committee organizes and participates in events featuring member artists or organizations to provide showcase opportunities for Creative Burlington members. It develops workshops and outreach for individuals and groups to enhance their skills, knowledge or ability to achieve sustainability and works with event organizers to encourage the use of local Burlington artists and performers.
Fundraising / Marketing Committee:
The Fundraising/Marketing Committee develops plans and policies to promote Creative Burlington's events and to communicate with our members and the local arts community. It oversees the development of the Artworks magazine abd helps organize fundraising events for ongoing sustainability.
